Design Statement:
Welcome! I’m Anthony Frindo Piazza and this is my “about me”. I believe beauty lies in the balance, the interior and exterior aspects of life should always be in harmony. This being said I find myself equally grasping roots in interior and architectural work. I started my journey with an associates degree in architectural drafting from Pittsburgh Technical College. Shortly after I enrolled into the School of the Art Institute of Chicago where I received my Bachelors of Fine Art. This degree focused on architecture, while also allowing me to pull in aspects of interior design and art. Continuing my education, I then enrolled in the School of the Art Institutes of Chicago’s masters of architecture program with a historic preservation certification. Always pairing my schooling with in field work experience to strengthen my skill set.
In order to strengthen my skill set, I’ve embraced a diverse project type. Project types consisting of commercial office design, multifamily residential, residential interior design, senior living, hospitality (food service), showroom design, new build, renovations, landscape, agricultural, lab/industrial design and adaptive reuse. Each project type brings on new challenges and a unique way to approach design. All these experiences adding up to a cumulative of 9+ years in the field.
